The One Thing
If there was one thing that was going to give you massive results....
If it was easy to implement...
If it was simply a matter of prioritisation...
Would you do it?
I hope you said yes, because there is one thing!
On any given day in any given area of your life there is one most important thing.
Simply by stopping and asking yourself the question – “What’s the most important thing I can do today?” We can identify our priority. Notice the word priority, not priorities – there can only be one priority, one most important thing.
I’m not talking about taking the garbage out – I’m talking about what’s the one thing that if you do it a domino effect will be set in place and you will achieve massive results?
Once you have identified your priority – guess what?
YOU GOTTA DO IT!!!!
And do it quickly!
Remember it’s your priority so prioritise the thing!
If your one thing is to do a workout – schedule it in your diary.
If your one thing is to call someone – make it your first call of the day.
If your one thing is to write a book – start writing.
Here Are The One Thing Rules:
Rule #1 – Identify your one thing every day.
Rule #2 – Block your one thing time into your diary (preferably at the start of the day when you’re fresh).
Rule #3 – Get rid of distractions.
Rule #4 – Protect your space – turn your Facebook & email off, phone on silent and upside down so you can’t see it, shut the door, tell everyone in the vicinity that you’re in Do Not Disturb mode.
Rule #5 – No BS excuses. Just get it done, make prioritising and taking action on your one thing a habit.
